A Picture is Worth a Thousands Words

We've all heard the saying, "A picture is worth a thousand words", but have you ever really experienced it?

In January Dear Lillie offered a free download that spoke more than a thousands words to me.  It spoke a whole life time of words and memories.

I found some paper that I thought would do justice to my idea, and then I began to look for an appropriate frame.  This had to be special.  I found a beautiful frame at Kirkland's and knew it was the right one.

It all fits together so perfectly and it says so much to me every time I see it.

You can find this download at Dear Lillie.

  1. Hi Lorna ~ Welcome to Ohio. We live near Columbus. Our cold winters are not a lot of fun although this year has been more mild than usual. Love the inspirational verse and how you framed it ~ it is very meaningful! BTW ~ I have a good friend originally from Alabama who says YA'LL all the time and I love it!

    1. Thanks JoAnne for the welcome. I don't think I will ever be able to stop saying YA'LL, I do get a lot of looks when I say it.

  3. Oh, this saying is lovely, and it reminds me of my mom. She passed away three years ago and is in my heart every day. The frame looks perfect for it.
