2012 Christmas Home Tour

Burning Candles

Our hearts have been so heavy this week and our prayers have been for strength and healing for the town of Newtown.

Welcome to our Home!

Few words today, but lots of pictures.

Walking in from the backdoor, the Dining Room is the first room you enter after the Mud Room.

Lots going on in this room!

A New Piece of Furniture to decorate!  You can read about the transformation here.

Walking through the Dining Room, you can't help but notice the "BIG" Tree.

From this room you can see into the Kitchen.

China Cabinet with Santa's galore!

Living Room all Decked Out!

And lastly, just a few shots taken at random places around the house.

And here's hoping for a "White Christmas"

Living Room Christmas Tree

It's not the most beautiful Tree in world.  It wasn't decorated by a designer or even a blogger who pretends she knows what she is doing.

It was decorated by two wonderful kids of mine.

We have a large tree that I decorate, (remember, the blogger who pretends she knows what she is doing?  That would be me.)  So this year we bought a smaller tree and set it on a table in front of a window in the Living Room.

They decorated it themselves and I love it!

I think they did an excellent job picking out ornaments, I love the colors they chose.

A Simple Blue Christmas Tree

When choosing a Tree for Aaron's room, I knew we could keep it simple.

His personality is LARGER than life itself and fills the room.  So sometimes you just need a little "simple" to balance things out.

Here is my bundle of personality!

Hope you enjoyed our Simple Blue Christmas Tree.
