Painted Side Table

I found the cute little side table on Craig's List and thought it needed a new look.

I don't have a Before, but here I have already primed it and have started to tape off the pattern I want to create.

A little more tape!

After taping off the top, I'm ready to add a different color paint to the top.  I decided to not just roll or brush it on, instead I used a rag and sort of "dabbed" it on, creating depth and texture.

I used a couple of different (but very similar) colors of paint, this helped to enhance the depth and texture.

I added a few accessories, including a few little birds for springtime.

    1. Thanks for stopping by Becca. I usually try different techniques to achieve the look I'm going for, sometimes the simplest things get the best results.
